Mary Eckstrom, 89, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017, at Kenosha Senior Living. Born on June 15, 1928, in Sheboygan, she was the daughter of the late Casper and Catherine (Nierenberger) Paul. On June 27, 1953, she married Carl B. Eckstrom at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2010. Mary was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church since 1946. Surviving her is her son, John (Tammy) Eckstrom of Elburn, IL; two grandchildren, Amanda and Zachary; and a sister, Catherine Prill. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Wtipil; and a brother in infancy, Lawrence. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, September 30th, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with visitation held at Proko Funeral Home prior from 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
