Paul E. Etlicher, 81, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Barron, WI, on October 11, 1935, he was the son of the late Paul K. and Pansy (Kuehnen) Etlicher. He was educated in the schools of Barron and graduated from Barron High School. Paul served his country in the United States Marines from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1958. On November 21, 1959, he married Barbara Blechinger in Almena, WI. Together they moved to Kenosha after their marriage. Paul worked for 30 years at American Motors/Chrysler Corp until his retirement in 1989. He was a former member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and a current member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Paul was also a member of the UAW Local 72 Retirees and enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, and bowling. For 25 years he enjoyed spending summers with his wife and family at the family cottage in Turtle Lake, WI. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Etlicher of Kenosha; three daughters, Susan (Michael) Busse, Lori Etlicher and Barbara (Gregory) Huss, all of Kenosha; two brothers, Laurel (Mary) Etlicher of Barron, WI, and Mike (Sandra) Etlicher of Almena, WI; two sisters, Barbara (Donald) Brown of Rice Lake, WI, and Bonita O’Flanagan of Almena, WI; nine grandchildren, Katrina (Chris) Ochranek, Nicole Leto, Caitlin Busse, Kyle Huss, Tyler Huss, Hannah Huss, Cameron Huss, Ryan Busse and Brittany Busse; and five great-grandchildren, Caiden, Collin, Kinzley, Hailee and Kamren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 19th, at St. Mary Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery with full military honors.
