RoseMarie “Rosie” Steinbrink, 88, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Addison Memory Care. Born in Kenosha on November 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John and Edris (Wolfe) Fitch. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. On June 12, 1948, she married Pete Steinbrink in Crown Point, IN. Rosie spent many years helping on the family farm. She enjoyed bird watching, tending to her flowers, and working in her yard. Most of all, she loved being with family, cooking big family meals, and enjoyed sharing a beer with her grandkids. She is survived by her two sons, John Peter (Roberta) Steinbrink, Sr. and Peter John Steinbrink, both of Pleasant Prairie; a brother, Eugene (Betty) Fitch of Omro, WI; three grandchildren, John (Jennifer) Steinbrink, Jr., Richard (Julie) Steinbrink, and Tricia Steinbrink; four great-grandchildren, Michael Steinbrink, Brian Steinbrink, Isabella Steinbrink, and Malia Rose Steinbrink; and a great-great grandchild, Hayden Steinbrink. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Steinbrink; her son, Norman Peter Steinbrink; her brother, Wayne (Bonnie) Fitch; and her step father, Evert Lundin. Rosie’s family would like to thank the staff of both Hospice Alliance and Addison Memory Care for all the kind and compassionate care they gave her. As per RoseMarie’s wishes, private funeral services were held. Memorial donations to Kenosha Achievement Center, 1218-79th Street, Kenosha, WI 53143, or Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158, in RoseMarie’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: 262-654-3533Visit & Sign Rosie’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com
