Renee E. Giombetti, 50, of Somers, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2017, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Milwaukee, WI, on June 10, 1967, she was the daughter of George J. and Barbara E. (Marion) Tennessen. She attended St. George Grade School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. After high school, she went on to get her certificate in hair styling. On October 13, 1995, she married Marc Giombetti in Albuquerque, NM. Renee was a hair stylist, working locally at Cost Cutters and Super Cuts until the birth of her son when she decided to stay home and be a full-time mother. She was very crafty, enjoyed working on cars, and loved her dogs. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her friends and family. Surviving are her husband, Marc Giombetti of Somers; her son, Connor George Giombetti of Somers; her mother, Barbara Tennessen of Somers; her brother, Steven (Beth) Tennessen of Huntington Beach, CA; and her nephew, Codi Tennessen of Huntington Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by her father, George J. Tennessen. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5th, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6th, at Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Mark and Connor....I am so, so sorry. I had so many joyful times with Renee over the years. She was so very generous....honestly one of the few people in the world that WOULD give you the shirt off her back....and lets not forget....so darn funny. I am thinking of you all and ending prayers.
