Robert "Skip" Stebbins, 72, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at HCR ManorCare. He was born in New Haven, CT, to the late Louise (Perrelli) Stirnichuk, adopted father Robin Stebbins and later Carl Stirnichuk. Robert had been a resident of Kenosha since 1988 and worked as a draftsman at International Harvester, later Komatsu Dresser for many years. He had a passion for fishing from a young age and adored the companionship he had with his dogs. He is survived by his children, Amanda (Kyle) Gray and Robert (Crystal) Majury; brother, Kevin Stirnichuk; brother-in-law, Maxley Rankine; and aunt, Barbara Battles. Cherished uncle to Melissa (Rankine) Dupor, Justin Rankine, and Tim, Jeff, Jim and Brian Stirnichuk. Dear grandfather to Charlotte and Alex Gray, and Rudy Majury. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Rankine; uncles, Frank and Leslie Perrelli; and aunt, Elaine Cody. He will be remembered fondly by Paula Majury Truskoski and many friends. As per Robert’s wishes, all services will be private. Cremation to take place at the Proko Funeral Home.
