Ann Rose (nee: Carelli) Fanduzzi, 95, peacefully passed to life eternal on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. Ann was born on November 15, 1921, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo “James” and Rose (nee: Tormenta) Carelli. She was educated in local schools. On April 7, 1945, she married Peter Joseph Fanduzzi Sr. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Together they owned and operated the Home Food Shop grocery store in Rochester, MN, and later the Just-Rite Food Shop in Kenosha. Ann later worked at Montgomery Ward and Eaton Dynamatic Corporation in Kenosha. Ann was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed golfing with her friends, playing cards with her gang, and spending time with her family. Ann is loved and remembered by her children, Rosanne Gulbinas and Peter (Patrice Kelleher) Fanduzzi Jr., both of Kenosha; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Fanduzzi. In addition to her parents and her husband, Peter, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Anthony Carelli. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 21st, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Proko Funeral Home from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
