Kenneth L. Schroeder, 81, of Somers, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at his residence. Born in Spokane, WA, on June 23, 1935, he was the son of the late Kenneth C. and Hazel Schroeder. Kenneth was a veteran of the US Navy and was formerly employed by Chrysler as a car hauler. He was a member of the Kenosha Sports Fishermen, the NRA, and Ducks Unlimited. Being an avid outdoorsman, Kenneth loved hunting and fishing. He took annual trips to Wyoming for deer hunting with his son and best friend. Surviving Kenneth are his two children, Kenneth C. Schroeder of Kenosha and Kim M. Bluthardt of Summerville, SC; two grandchildren, Kyle P. (Kady) Bluthardt and Krystina M. Bluthardt; two great-grandchildren, Ellington Ryann Bluthardt and Greyson Patrick Bluthardt; his longtime girlfriend, Barbara Morrison of Kenosha; best friend, John Mankowski; five siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
