Charles P. Honold, 53, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at his home. Charlie, as he was fondly called, was born on November 18, 1963, in Waukegan, IL, and lived in this area for the last 20 years. He was employed as a Fireman at Great Lakes Naval Base for many years and was currently working full time at The Home Depot in Racine. Charlie had a great sense of humor and always had a smile to share. He was a “foodie” at heart and was a great dad to all of his fur babies. Survivors include his wife, Judith; sons, Stephen (Jaime) Sochor of Cave Creek, AZ, Patrick (Mikyeila Cordero) Sochor of Tempe, AZ, and Robert Sochor of Kenosha; a brother, Edward (Caroline) Honold of Silver Lake; and two nieces, Michelle Honold and Jesica (Phillip) Ward-Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Barbara Honold; and a sister, Mary Jo Garrett. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28th, at Proko Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. Pastor Wayne John of Redeemer Lutheran Church will be officiating. Charlie loved all animals and appreciated what Planned Pethood Plus did for animal welfare. Judy and family - Lew and I share your grief in the loss of Charlie. Charlie was a good man and will be missed. We know he loved his family with all of his heart. Charlie told us once that he was one lucky man when he married Judy and her three boys and his life was complete. Cherish your memories and know that you all were well loved by Charlie. Our hearts and prayers are with you all. Charlie - may you rest in peace.
