Maria Carmela Ruffolo, 54, of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2017, at her home. Born in Marano Marchesato, Province of Cosenza, Italy, on July 23, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Giacomino and Iolanda (Perri) Ruffolo. She came to Kenosha on September 4, 1971, and was educated in local schools. Maria Carmela was formerly employed with Jewel Grocery Store. She enjoyed cooking, listening to the radio, and watching television. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family. Survivors include her brother, Nicola “Mario” Ruffolo of Kenosha; two nephews, Giacomino “Giaco” (Anna) Ruffolo and Francesco “Frank” (Cassandra) Ruffolo, both of Kenosha; a niece, Maria (Rigo Fuentes) Ruffolo of Kenosha; and five great-nieces, Carmelina, Filomena, Ariella, Francesca and Sofia. She is furthered survived by two aunts, Gilda Ruffolo of Canada and Rita Ruffolo of Kenosha; and many cousins, other relatives and friends in Kenosha, Chicago, Italy, Canada, France, and England.
