Nancy S. Frederick, 81, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at HCR Manor Care Center in Kenosha. She was born in Joliet, IL, on September 13, 1935, to the late Albert and Patricia (Flannigan) Drettwan. She was raised and educated in the schools of Racine, moving to Kenosha after high school. Nancy worked for many years as a secretary for the IRS. She also taught piano and organ lessons. Aside from her passion for music, Nancy loved all types of crafting including crocheting. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. At the age of 72, Nancy courageously went on the adventure of a lifetime by moving to Australia to be with her soulmate, John Stone. She lived there for 6 years until he preceded her in death in 2014. Surviving Nancy are her daughters, Linda (William) Jones of Ohio and Brenda (Abel Garcia Jr.) Frederick and Sandy Szostak, both of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Ariel and Marcus; and two sisters, Elizabeth Patzke of Sturtevant and Patricia Drettwan of Racine. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
