Richard G. Juszkiewicz, 91, formerly of Kenosha, late of Racine, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI. Born in Vilnius, Poland, on May 22, 1925, he was the son of the late Victor and Maria Juszkiewicz. He served in the Polish Army during World War II. Richard moved to Kenosha 1962 and then to Racine in 2013. On June 15, 1958, he was united in marriage to Danuta T. Szymanik. She preceded him in death on July 9, 2012. Richard was employed in maintenance with First Bank Southeast and also Imperial House Apartments. He loved photography, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to go for walks with his dog, Akira. Richard is survived by two sons, Arthur (Jennifer) Juszkiewicz and Chris Juszkiewicz; a daughter, Maggie (Keith) Cooper; a brother, Zbigniew (Theresa) Juszkiewicz; and his five grandchildren, Jane Juszkiewicz, Ean Juszkiewicz, Larissa Cooper, Kyle (Maggie Kruger) Cooper and Aaron (fiancée Karli Contreras) Cooper. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Aggie Juszkiewicz; and a sister, Halena Tomczak. Richard’s family would like to thank the staff of The Woods of Caledonia where he lived and also the staff of Ascension All Saints on 2C, 3A, 3B, 3C, and the ER for all of the kind and compassionate care they gave him. As per Richard’s wishes, all services were private.
