Sharon Bittis Riley, 64, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at UHS-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus. Born in Waukegan, IL, on August 16, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy (Jellings) Bittis. She moved to Kenosha as a young child and was educated in local schools. Sharon was formerly employed as a kindergarten teacher before getting a job with the Great Lakes Naval Base where she retired from. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed reading, drawing and cooking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Qiana Riley of Kenosha; a step son, Junior Blow of Green Bay, WI; three brothers, David Bittis of Baraboo, WI, Michael Bittis of Baraboo, WI, and Brian Bittis of Kenosha; and two step grandchildren, Jaimeyn Blow and Jamarion Morris. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Bittis. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20th, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1444-30th Avenue, Kenosha, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon.
