Raymond V. Valdez, age 70, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectantly at his residence on Wednesday December 21, 2016.Born in Robstown, TX on March 4, 1946, he was the son of the late Raymond and Maria Villareal Valdez Sr.Raymond served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On July 10, 1971, he married Margaret Scola in Kenosha, WI. He was employed with McWhytes wire rope company for 24 years until it closed and later worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 4 years until he retired.Raymond enjoyed working on cars, especially his Mustang, cooking and grilling, playing video games, watching westerns on TV and spending time with his wife and family.His memory lives on through his wife Margaret, brother David (Sandra) Valdez of Kenosha and his sister, Emma (Lupe) Ayala of McKinney, Texas, god daughter, Yanitz Irizarry of Kenosha, great nephew Charles Pohlson of Kenosha, also survived by 6 half brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
