I was saddened to read of Lois' passing, though pleased that she enjoyed a long, happy life. I worked with Lois at Carthage in the late 1970's and early 1980's where she was the telephone switchboard receptionist and information desk for visitors in Lentz Hall. She was ever cheerful, incredibly helpful and blessed with a gentle manner and a wonderful sense of humor. She did her job the old fashioned way -- with a personal touch, a smile and an easy-going competency that left a positive feeling in all whom she encountered. I'll always remember her with great fondness. My condolences to her family.
