Virginia J. Schmidt, age 84, of Somers, passed away at her residence on Friday September 30, 2016.She was born on April 16, 1932 in Waterloo, WI, the daughter of the late Edward and Lelah (DeVoe) Weber.Virginia was a graduate of William Horlick High School. She was united in Marriage to William Schmidt in Racine, WI, he preceded her in death in 1992.She enjoyed traveling with William, going to plays at the Fireside Restaurant and participating at the Senior Center.Surviving Virginia are her two children, William (Joyce) Schmidt of Kenosha and Catherine Schmidt of Kenosha, five grandchildren: William (Abby), Ashley, Danielle (Casey), Tracey (Kenneth) and Amber, eight great grandchildren: Michael, Matthew (Krystal), Brittany, Topanga, Ethan, Stephen, Trent and Brooke.A Private memorial service will be held in her name.
