Lawrence Frechette

Lawrence Frechette, 80, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 16, 2016, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus surrounded by his loving family. Born in Keshena, WI, on October 27, 1935, he was the son of James and Marie (Waukesha) Frechette, Sr. Lawrence served his country in the United States Marines. On August 15, 1961, he married Carol Ann Boyd in Waukegan, IL. They moved to Kenosha in 1962. She preceded him in death on November 18, 2013. Lawrence was a punch press operator at Johnson Motors for several years before his retirement. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Lawrence is survived by three children, Margie (Russell) Raethke, Loree (Doug Pientok) Frechette and Lorna Frechette, all of Kenosha; three sisters; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, James W. “Camerin” Frechette; and seven siblings. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 19th, at St. Mary Catholic Church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
