Mary Helen Pietrangeli, 96, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in Mentor, OH. Born in Litchfield, IL, on January 26, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Tony and Anna (Hrebik) Bellaver. She resided, for most of her life, in Kenosha and attended the Kenosha local schools. On March 19, 1939, she married Emil Pietrangeli at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a marriage which lasted 73 years until his death in 2012. She had been employed at American Motors as a buyer in the Purchasing Department. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She and her husband enjoyed bowling and were avid sports enthusiasts. She was a Chicago Bear fan surrounded by Packer fans and a St. Louis Cardinal fan surrounded by Cubs fans. Surviving are a daughter, Joan (Robert) Pagnini of Concord Township, OH; her daughter-in-law, Diana Pietrangeli of Yorkville, IL; a sister, Betty Ann Dowe of Kenosha, WI; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; one niece; and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Neil Jon Pietrangeli. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3rd, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
