Pearl Joy (Schlesner) Rubadeau, 81, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, at United Hospital System-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus. She was born in Watertown, WI, on January 30, 1935, the daughter of the late Ervin and Shirley (Lincks) Schlesner. She was educated at Johnson Creek public schools. On August 7, 1954, she married Donald Leo Rubadeau at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown, WI. They had three sons, Jon Rubadeau born April 14, 1955, Scott Rubadeau born July 1, 1958 and Mark Rubadeau born on April 1, 1963. Pearl was employed by Elliot’s Department Store in Watertown from 1952 until 1953 and later with Hartwigs Poultry Processing Plant in Johnson Creek. In 1959 she helped her husband run their business Don’s Sudden Service. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, fishing, bingo, gambling and snowmobiling. Pearl is survived by her husband, Donald Rubadeau; a son, Mark Rubadeau; a grandson; and a sister, Kathleen Jensen of Madison. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by two sons, Jon and Scott Rubadeau; two sisters, Lois Buelow and Sandra Herschi; and four brothers, Wayne, Donald, Dennis and Dale Schlesner.
