Ellen E. DeLabio, 93, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Brookside Care Center. Born on December 15, 1922, in Emporium, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia (Romano) Gennaccaro. She was raised in Kenosha and was educated in local schools. On July 25, 1942, she was united in marriage to Elmer E. DeLabio at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2014. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Ellen was a devoted wife and mother. Surviving are her three daughters, Claudia Hoff of Sarasota, FL, Pat (Bob) Oldani of Kenosha and Denise (Guy) Sogrio of Kenosha; eight grandchildren, Kevin (Jamie) Hoff, Dennis (Amy Fabiano) Hoff, Kimberly Hoff, Lance (Angela) Hoff, Deanna (Matthew) McCoy, Frank (Marci) Oldani, Donald (Wendy) Oldani and Corinne Keller; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Martin Bernacchi; four sisters, Rose Vassalla, Angeline Gallo, Jenny Aiello and Mary Hubert; and two brothers, Peter and Lou Gennaccaro. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31st, at Proko Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 1st, starting with a prayer service at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial following at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at St. George Cemetery.
