Bruce Paul Anderson (nee Mahkimetas), 65, passed away in Kenosha, WI, on February 14, 2016. As a member of the Menominee Indian Tribe, Bruce was born in Neopit, WI, on January 26, 1951. He was raised by his loving parents, James and LaVerne Anderson, along with his brother, Gregory James (nee Mahkimetas). His father being in the service, Bruce lived in many places while growing up. The family returned to Racine where Bruce graduated from Case High School in 1970. Eventually he moved to California. After eleven years, he returned to Racine once again as he considered this his home. He leaves behind his daughter, Leah, and her daughter and son, Alex, and his family in California; his sister, Joan Hammill, and son, Steven, in Racine, and his two brothers and their families, Gregory Anderson in California and David Anderson in North Carolina. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins in Wisconsin and North Carolina. Finally, he leaves his dear companion of eleven years, Pamela Brown of Kenosha. They were sweethearts until the end.
