Michael Costanzo

Michael Costanzo, 90, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at the Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. He was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, born on May 13, 1925, the son of the late Louis and Roselena (Mancuso) Costanzo. Michael was educated in the Kenosha school system and graduated from Kenosha High school. Following graduation he attended and graduated from the College of Commerce in Kenosha. He proudly served in the United States Army, stationed in Japan and the Philippines during World War II, with the Medical Corps. Michael was employed at Johnson Outboard Marine in Waukegan, IL, as an accountant. He was a member of the Italian American Club of Kenosha. Michael is survived by his sisters, Catherine (William) Pollock of Sebastian, FL, and Rita Costanzo of Kenosha. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Anna Marie Porcaro; and two brothers, Joseph and Louis Costanzo. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4th, at Proko Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., followed by a procession to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. We are so sorry we didn't learn of Michael's passing until late Monday afternoon...too late to attend the wake and funeral. We have many fond memories of Michael, his parents, of course his brother Louis and his sisters. The Christmas season and the wonderful meals can't be forgotten.
