Rollin L. “Ron” Snyder, of Kenosha, passed away on November 28, 2015, at Parkside Manor at the age of 87. Ron was born on March 12, 1928, in Columbia County, PA, and was the son of the late Caroline Houck (nee Snyder). He was in the United States Navy and served in the Korean War. Ron married the love of his life, Betty Snyder on August 27, 1948, and enjoyed traveling to Cancun with her. Ron worked at Intrupa Manufacturing where he retired in 1999; his favorite hobby was cooking for his family and he enjoyed telling stories of his past. Surviving are his daughters, Linda (John) Slobodzian and Sandra (David) LaForge; his grandchildren, John Jr. (Karen) Slobodzian, Katie (Steve) Meathe, Jenny (Mike) Herman, David (Kelli) LaForge and Jeff (Sara) LaForge; and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving is Ron’s sister, Charlotte Watral of Schuylkill Haven, PA; and two brothers, James Snyder of Aristes, PA, and Daniel Houck of Ellysburg, PA.
