Lualhati Sta. Maria “Chuchi” Cabili, 56, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at her home with her family by her side. Born in the Philippines on November 13, 1958, she was the daughter of Castulo and Mercedes (Sta. Maria) Cabili. She moved to North Chicago in 1972 where she graduated from North Chicago High School. She then went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Finch University of Health Sciences. Chuchi was employed in research and development with Abbott Laboratories for over 15 years. She enjoyed attending Mass at various catholic churches as well as doing home improvement, yard work, crocheting, shopping and Sudoku puzzles. Survivors include her two children, Catherine (Joshua Gauger) Bobadilla of Phoenix, AZ, and Christian Bobadilla of Milwaukee; her parents, Castulo and Mercedes Cabili of Pleasant Prairie; two brothers, Wilfredo Cabili of the Philippines and Teodoro (Tamara) Cabili of Racine; and a sister, Cristina (William) Reum of Milwaukee. She is furthered survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 21st, at St. Therese Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
