Josephine Barca, 96, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. Born on January 13, 1919, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Giacinto and Michelangelina (Defazio) Falduto. She was a graduate of Kenosha High School. Josephine was employed as a sewer for Coopers/Jockey for 30 years until she retired in 1984. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and a former member of the Italian American Club. Josephine enjoyed baking, cooking and playing bingo. She also enjoyed watching game shows and all sports. She especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her two children, Alex P. Barca of Kenosha and Jean E. (Louis) Schultz of Rotonda West, FL; five grandchildren, Frank (Corinne) Barca, Jonathan Barca and Suzanne (Brandon) Becker, all of Kenosha, Tom (Kathy) Neumeyer of Chicago, IL, and Rob (Nasreen) Neumeyer of Crystal Lake, IL; two extended grandchildren, Denise Schultz-Glickman of Grapevine, TX, and Debbie (Ron) Mahke of Rockton, IL; her six great-grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Julia and Elijah Neumeyer, and Gabriel and Adelaide Becker; a brother, Frank (Gina) Missurelli of Kenosha; and special friend, Dorothy (Lindstrom) Barca of Kenosha. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Josephine was also preceded in death by her brother, Paul Falduto; and sisters, Martha DeCicco, Angeline Greco, Mary Venturini and Grace Falbo. Josephine’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and assistants working on Four Palmer at Kenosha Hospital. They were wonderful. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 9th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
