Bernadine V. “Bernie” Larson, 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2015, at her home. Born in Oshkosh, WI, on February 25, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ottilia (Schatz) Weber. She attended the schools of Oshkosh, St. Vincent’s Catholic Grade School and Oshkosh High School, coming to Kenosha in 1959 to make her home. On January 25, 1947, she married Harold J. Larson at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh, WI. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2011. She was a telephone operator for over 42 years for AT&T, formerly Wisconsin Bell, retiring from AT&T in 1986. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, CYC Auxiliary and Ameritech Telephone Pioneers. Bernie enjoyed ceramics, attending craft fairs and watching the Green Bay Packers win. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo (Paul) Anderson of Kenosha; a son, Ronald P. Larson of Kenosha; and a sister, Betty Lou (David) Paulick of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Weber and Frank Weber; and a sister, Magdala Whittaker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
