Bill passed away holding his wife Annette’s hand on October 15, 2015, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.He was born to the late Leta Slavens and Geofrey Erickson on January 23, 1942 in Racine, WI.Bill attended Kenosha Public Schools, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1960 and the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1964 with a degree in Economics. From 1968 to 1986 he worked for J.C. Penney’s and Gambles-Skogmo in New York as a senior buyer.He returned home to Kenosha in 1986 to marry his junior high sweetheart, Annette Blasi on September 6, 1986. He continued his career in sales with Quick Cable Corporation and Electrical Contractors of Racine retiring in 1996.Bill loved the game of bridge and achieved Diamond Life Bridge Master status and was active in Racine Duplicate Bridge Club, as well as Bridge Unit 222 of Milwaukee.He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Annette, his daughter Jennifer Longato and son Gregory Erickson; stepdaughter, Sheryl Cohen, two grandsons Jason and Jordan; step-grandchildren, Van Coughlin and Dylan Coughlin. His is also survived by many cousins, and loyal friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, Frank and Marlene Blasi and a step-daughter Carla Petterson.Bill was the most wonderful loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather and friend anyone could ask for.Funeral services will be private.
