Phyllis Ann Pucci, 87 of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Oct 13, 2015 after a struggle with heart failure.Born to the late William and Ella Durand on February 04, 1928, she was raised in Kenosha. Phyllis attended St Thomas School, Lincoln Jr High and Mary D Bradford. She started her career as a waitress at the young age of 10 years old by helping at a small restaurant; Fosland’s which was managed by her father William Durand then working at her father’s restaurant Durand’s. After his passing Phyllis continued working at various restaurants in Kenosha. The majority of her life was spent working at Kenosha Country Club, where she retired at the age of 62 and was loved by all.Phyllis is survived by her children Christopher Pucci, Christine Beam, Catherine (Michael) Hoey, Cindy NeSmith. She also is survived by grandchildren Fred (Michelle) Beam, Mathew Hoey, Jennifer (Justin) Williams, Jacqueline (Tony) Liontas, Michelle Donaldson, Kim (Kenneth) Lackey, and Crystal Giles, great grandchildren Sophia Liontas, Makenzie Beam, Mariah Lackey, Brandon Lackey, and great great granddaughter Anabell Lackey, three brothers William Durand, Dwight (Karen) Durand and Doug (Helene) Kornwolf.She was preceded in death by her sister Beatrice KrebsHer sense of humor, beautiful smile, caring ways , forgiving strengths, and her strong will to live brightened many lives, she was a dedicated mother who never let us know how hard times where, she managed to make it happen. Unforgettable in so many ways, that’s how she will stay. That's why, MOM we think you are so incredible we will always carry your memory in our hearts. We see skies of blue, and clouds of white, those bright blessed days and we think to ourselves what a wonderful world she gave us. We were never on our own, we wander through this wonderland she gave us, she smiled, she smiled, and then the spell was cast, here she is in heaven; I hope the angels know what they have.
