Frank Conforti

1954 ∼ 2015

Frank Conforti, 61, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015, after a long struggle with kidney disease. Frank was born on August 27, 1954, in Marano Principato, Providence of Cosenza, Italy, the son of Gabriele and Rafaella (Ziccarelli) Conforti. He moved to the United States when he was 12 years old and proudly became a citizen as an adult. He attended local schools, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Grade School and was a 1972 graduate of Tremper High School. Frank was a dedicated laborer for American Motors and Chrysler Corporation for over 30 years until he retired in 2003. He was a member of UAW Local 72. After his retirement, Frank found success in real estate and took great pride in caring for the tenants who lived in his homes. Frank loved to grow beautiful flowers and paint in his free time. He enjoyed listening to music, and most of all, looked forward to his time with family and friends. Through his big heart and generous spirit, Frank was a friend to all and touched the lives of so many who knew him. He was always happy to care for others, especially his mother and father, who he loved very much. Frank is survived by his parents, Gabriele and Rafaella Conforti; two sisters, Rose (Mike) Capodarco and Diane (Mark) Andreoli; a brother, Fernando (Elizabeth) Conforti; his loving niece and nephews, Caroline, Luca and Marco Conforti; and also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francesco and Rosaria Conforti and Serafino and Orsola Ziccarelli. Frank was my husband's best friend. He stood next to him as Best Man at our wedding in September 1980. He and my husband have stayed GOOD friends over the years, often meeting for coffee here and there, and having long talks, always supporting each other. He has always been such a quiet, kind, thoughtful and very caring person, with a heart of gold. Frank- we hope you're in a better place now; we will truly miss you. Emilio & Diane Savaglio
