Naoma L. Shampine

Naoma L. Shampine, 69, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, fell asleep in death on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at home. Born on February 28, 1946, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of William and Helen (Lovell) Shampine. She was a long standing member of the Pleasant Prairie Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Naoma loved animals, poetry, fishing and her cat, Boots. In her early years she was an unbelievable athlete and in her later years was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers. She was preceded in death by her parents and survived by her brother, Ward (Fran) Shampine of Kenosha; her favorite loving aunt, Jeanne Funken of Eugene, OR. She was a beloved auntie to Darryl Shampine of New York and Maureen Shampine of California. She is further survived by her many loving friends. So sorry that you lost your sister, niece, beloved aunty. Naoma had a beautiful smile, a positive attitude and she will be missed. I am looking forward to the time when she will be brought back to us in the resurrection.
