Mahesh “Max” Shah, 68, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, with his family at his side. Born on April 4, 1947, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, he was the son of Parshotam and Narbada Shah. He was educated in the schools of Ethiopia before coming to Kenosha in 1970 to attend Carthage College. On August 6, 2015, he married Susan Jensen at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. For over 28 years he had been a Systems Analyst for Abbott Laboratory in North Chicago, IL. He was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan; he had a very good social life. Max enjoyed vacationing up North. He was a member of the Kenosha Country Club and traveled to Mexico every year. Surviving are his wife, Susan of Kenosha; his mother, Narbada Shah of Kenosha; two children, Jasmin Shah of Chicago, IL, and Stephen Shah of Madison, WI; and a step son, Kyle Rauen of Kenosha. He was preceded in death by his father, Parshotam Shah; a brother, Vinod Shah; and two sisters, Chanden Hansen and Nayna Shah. May I offer my deepest sympathy to the family. Mahesh and I shared countless laughs when we worked together at OMC. I felt honored to celebrate with him when he became an American citizen many years ago. What a great friend to many!

Susie, I am so very sorry for your loss of Max, I know how very much you loved him. We will miss seeing him out enjoying the back yard that you made so beautiful. Just remember when you are sitting out in the back yard enjoying it, Max will always be there with you. I can't imagine what you are going through, but please know that if you ever need help with anything, don't hesitate to let us know. RIP Max, you will be deeply missed.
