Patricia C. Aker

Patricia C. Aker, 81, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Kenosha on November 20, 1933, the daughter of the late Harry and Jean (Herr) Schaffer. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and was a 1951 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. On January 25, 1975, she married Clarence “Bud” Aker at St. Mary’s Catholic Church; he preceded her in death in 1993. Patricia was employed by the Eaton Corporation for over 30 years as a secretary; she retired in 1998. Following her retirement she volunteered at the Kenosha Historical Society and was named volunteer of the year. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point, crossword puzzles and bowling. Surviving Patricia are her children, Tim (Jean) Aker of Kenosha and Pam (Greg) Kruchko of Salem; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Angie (Ed) Baron of Adams, WI. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother in-law, Evelyn and Don Sikora. I just found out that cousin Pat passed away. So very sad to hear that. I'll miss those phone chats on her birthday. She was always so pleasant and very supportive when I moved to Canada. My thoughts are with her family at this time.

I just returned from the West Coast last night and found out my dear friend Pat passed. I am praying for her and her family. So glad we had that last lunch before I left. I will miss you Pat.
