Elsie D. “Rusty” Becker, 95, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2015, at her home. Born in Santa Anna Boschi, Italy, on April 1, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Ponsette) Reancont. She came to the United States in 1922 and settled in Hurley, WI. She graduated from Lincoln High School. Her family moved to Kenosha in 1942. On October 25, 1947, she married Carl L. Becker at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2000. Rusty worked for the Wisconsin Gas and Electric Company and Barden’s Department Store retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club and St. George (now St. Elizabeth) Catholic Church. She was a Red Cross nurse’s aide volunteer at St. Catherine’s Hospital during World War II. She is survived by son, Joseph Becker of Milwaukee; three daughters, Diane Wildrick of New Berlin, IL, Karen Becker of Kenosha and Georgia (David Lorenz) Becker of Milwaukee; a grandson, Jesse (Kiara) Lorenz or Arlington, VA; two granddaughters, Annmarie Wildrick of Springfield, IL, and Carla Lorenz of Brooklyn, NY; and two great-granddaughters, Maria Olson and Elsie Lorenz. She is furthered survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Frank and John Reancont; a sister in infancy; a son-in-law, James Wildrick; and a grandson, Michael Wildrick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 9th, at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
