Angeline Mary “Angie” Fonk, 92, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Brookside Care Center. Born in Kenosha on June 9, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Carmela (Gentile) Tenuta. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. On February 13, 1954, she was united in marriage to Ralph A. Fonk at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1997. Angie was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, trips to the casino and watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. Surviving is her son, Kim (Penny) Fonk of Pleasant Prairie; two sons-in-law, Richard Renzuli and Michael Cristiano, both of Kenosha; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Karen Renzuli and Kathy Cristiano; and her five brothers and sisters. Angie’s family would like to send a special thank you to her extended family, the nurses and staff of Brookside Care Center for all of the kind and compassionate care they gave her. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919-54th Street, at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
