Doris M. Pacetti, 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2015, at United Hospital System-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus. Born in Racine on August 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Tillie (Rink) Braund. She attended schools in Racine and in 1944 her family moved to Kenosha. On August 13, 1946, she married Joseph Pacetti in Toledo, OH. In 1951 they moved to Wausau, WI, and then returned to Kenosha in 1961. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1993. Doris and her husband owned and operated Jasper’s Tap in Kenosha and also Brookdale Inn Super Club in Wausau. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Senior Action Council. Survivors include many generations of loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell, Ellsworth, Virgil and Lester; and three sisters, Lucille Lancor, Laura Conforti and Pearl Lucky. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16th, at Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
