Edward Naydihor, Sr., 63, of Kenosha, passed away at his residence and was reunited with his soulmate on Friday, April 17, 2015, with his family at his side. Born in Kenosha on July 7, 1951, he was the son of the late Alben and Lois (Schneider) Naydihor. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School and then from Gateway Technical College. On December 4, 1971, he was united in marriage to Colleen R. Hallmark at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Kenosha. She preceded him in death on March 25, 2005. Ed retired from Snap-on after 32 years as a machinist. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, K-Town Bass Buddies and Wednesday Night Bass Busters. He was a former member of the Jay-Cees and loved being in the outdoors fishing, hunting, camping and traveling. One of his greatest joys was caring for and being surrounded by his grandchildren. Edward is survived by his three children, Julie (Matthew) DuJardin of St. Charles, IL, Korrine (Justin Vigansky) Naydihor of Kenosha and Edward (Heather) Naydihor, Jr. of Kenosha; his three siblings, Sharon (Dan) Watring of Kenosha, David (Brenda) Naydihor of Silver Lake and Paul Naydihor of Kenosha; and five grandchildren, Matthew Jon DuJardin, Isabella Colleen DuJardin, Lily Rae DuJardin, Isaiah Edward Vigansky and Aria Colleen Vigansky. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 20th, at Proko Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private. Uncle Ed, You always had the biggest smile. You always had a way to make a room brighter. During holidays my favorite place to go was down to the bar by you, no matter what It always ended in laughter.
