Mary Margaret Johnson, 82, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Paris, WI, on June 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Elinor (Maurice) Mich. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha County and was educated in local schools, graduating from St. Catherine’s High School in Racine. On June 14, 1952, she married Donald Johnson at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paris, WI. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2011. Mary was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and loved baking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her six children, Jerry Johnson of Kenosha, Carol (Jeff) Nesbit of Desert Hot Springs, CA, Barbara (Bill) Martin of Novato, CA, Tom (Sylvia) Johnson of Pleasant Prairie, Ted (Lois) Johnson of Kenosha, and Dan Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, George (Ann) Mich of Kenosha, Anthony Mich of Paris, WI, Leon (Darlene) Mich of West Bend, WI, and John (Beverly) Mich of Kenosha; a sister, Rita (John) Milligan of Bristol; and a sister-in-law, Dolores Mich of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Mich. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 10th, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9th, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
