Margaret Petricek

Margaret Petricek, 96, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born in Kenosha on March 10, 1919, the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Vydarney) Ladvienka. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools. She was employed for over 30 years with American Motors/Chrysler Corp. from 1952 until her retirement in 1982. On August 24, 1940, she was united in marriage to Arthur Petricek in Dubuque, IA; he preceded her in death. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha. Margaret loved her dog Trixie, playing bingo and driving her car. She is survived by her two sons, Frank Petricek of Taylorville, KY, and Larry (Sandra) Petricek of Greenfield, WI; two grandchildren, Allison Petricek of Louisville, KY, and Ronald (Jaime) Petricek of Greenfield, WI; and her three great-grandchildren, Austin, Arthur and Aaron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; a grandson, Jason Petricek; two brothers and a half-sister. I grew up next door to Marge and Art. Marge was a lovely lady who loved her dogs and was always looking out for her neighbors. I will miss seeing her walking the dogs and engaging with her in conversations. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to Larry and family.
