Eugene Michael “Gene” Cross, Sr., 75, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at his residence after battling a long illness. Born in Kenosha on May 8, 1959, he was the son of the late Frank and Lydia (Belding) Cross. Gene was educated in local schools and graduated from Bradford High School. He served in the United States Air Force from May 13, 1957, until his honorable discharge on April 2, 1959. On August 1, 1984, he married Bonnie Jean Andereggen in Las Vegas, NV. Gene enjoyed fishing, bowling and trips to the casino. He was also a huge Green Bay Packer fan. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie of Kenosha; six sons, Sean Cross, Shane (Brittany) Cross, Robert (Chris) Brown, Gary Brown and Kevin Brown, all of Kenosha, and Eugene Cross, Jr.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his niece, Tammy Lucky; and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is further survived by his beloved dog, Peaches. He was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Cross; a granddaughter, Shaylee Cross; and four brothers, Archie, Billy, Robert and George Lucky.
