Carmella Delores Perry
Carmella D. Perry, 82, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015, at Harmony Assisted Living of Kenosha. Born in Kenosha on July 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Mary (DeAngelis) Pascucci. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. On February 19, 1954, she married Sam “Finney” Perry at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2004. Carmella worked in the banking industry for over 35 years, starting at Brown National Bank and retiring for the last time from Bank of Kenosha. Throughout her banking career she attended classes at UW-Madison and Gateway Technical College. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and also a former member of the Italian-American Ladies Auxiliary. She was known for her cooking and supported her sons’ participation in sports. She simply loved being around family!!! Survivors include her two sons, Samuel (Sharon) Perry and Paul (Nancee) Perry, both of Kenosha; a brother, Ernest Pascucci of Kenosha; four grandchildren, Lisa (Adam) Gilson of Wauwatosa, WI, Lauren (Matthew) Johnson of Kenosha, Kathryn Perry of New York, and Dante Perry of Kenosha; and great grandson, Bennett John Gilson. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews whom she deeply loved. She was preceded in death by her step mother, Brunetta (Rossi) Pascucci; and four sisters, Eda Gearhart, Gina Born, Marion Krifka and Natale Goldstein. Carmella’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Harmony Assisted Living of Kenosha and Hospice Alliance for all of the kind and compassionate care they gave her. Friends and relatives are asked to meet on Thursday, March 12th, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church for a memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. Sam,Sharon and family, We are truly sorry for your loss. Carm was a spitfire when I worked with her at the Brown National Bank. I have many memories and good times to think about.
