Doris M. Groenke, 91, of Kenosha, entered into her eternal peace on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Parkside Manor. Born in Kenosha on September 25, 1923, she was the youngest daughter of nine children of the late Frank and Leata (Hartl) Clark. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. On November 7, 1942, she married Russell Frank Groenke at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1990. A spunky woman who devoted herself to her children and grandchildren, Doris took pride in her family. Survivors include her three daughters, Patricia Noel of Kenosha, Sandra (Michael) Sebetic of Florida, and Cynthia (Robert) Peters of Utah; nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Eklund, Stacy (Steven) Catrine, Corinne (Donald Sieber) Noel-Sieber, Brett (Angela) Noel, Craig Sebetic, James (Jessica) Dabbs, Keith Dabbs, Braden (Meaghan) Peters and Stephanie (William) Neal; 23 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marjorie. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Joseph Peter Russell Sieber; three sisters, Mona, Ruth and Leona; and four brothers, Harley, Irving, Leroy and Frank.
