In one of my jobs at Snap-on Tools as a Sales Promotion Buyer in the Purchasing Department, I worked with Al Turco and his staff on many many projects. In addition, Al was my golf partner for a number of years in a Snap-on league. Over the many years, his Sales Promotion Department's ideas helped to inspire Dealers and Customers which brought in millions of dollars in sales to Snap-on. The Dealer conventions he directed each year were educational and exiting. With each new yearly sales theme such as "Red Hot and Rolling," the Dealers and Industrial Salesmen left the convention fired up and eager to get feet on the street to sell Snap-on products. These sales themes also fired up and inspired support staff at the General Office to give their best customer service to Dealers and Industrial Salesmen in their sales efforts. As my golf partner, Al helped us to win first place twice in the Snap-on league. Al helped to resurrect my golf short game with a tip learned from a pro he met on a golf vacation. Al sponsored me in the Serra Club to help support vocations for the religion we both love. In all settings Al was always the finest gentleman and mentor to me and many others. Al was a shinning example of the "Greatest Generation". May the perpetual light of Jesus Christ shine upon Al throughout eternity. My deepest sympathies to the family. Leo F. Gallo

I worked for Al Turco at Snap-on for 15 years. He was certainly one of the finest men I ever knew. A wise, kind and fair man. He left an indelible mark. He will be missed.
