Our dear friend passed away peacefully at home on Valentine’s Day. We’ll remember him always as a hard worker, down-to-earth neighbor, co-worker and great companion. Bud was in the Army in Japan, where he learned the electrical trade. He was a crane operator at the American Brass, a city bus driver and an over-the-road truck driver for American. He also graduated from Gateway Technical College as a tool and die maker. He loved big equipment. One favorite TV show was “Highway Through Hell.” His dream was to own a motor home and he and his longtime companion, Donna, enjoyed many wonderful moments traveling about and camping. He owned his own business, Adams Welding and some projects still exist in Kenosha. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, building large “structures” and loved Country Western music and Credence Clearwater Revival. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Morgan Adams; parents, Burlin and Muriel Adams; and his precious, favorite cat, Jamba Juice. Special thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Catherine’s Medical Center as well as Hospice Alliance, Proko Funeral Home and friends who cared for Bud. “We’ll miss you, Buddy. You will be our special Valentine, forever. I met Bud when I delivered his papers and started working for him in his welding shop. He was like a second father to me. We were friends over many years. He was funny and many sayings. I still think about him often. He was a Great Guy!! He wasn't as good as he once was, but, he was good once as he always was!

Bud was such a good friend to Buster. I am so glad he was a part of his life. They never lost touch with one another. He will be greatly missed. His life is full of stories and memories that will help you Donna through these times. We will keep you in our prayers.
