Paul Reyes, 78, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Aurora Medical Center. Born in San Juan, Rizal, Philippines on January 26, 1937, he was the son of Faustino and Rufina Reyes. On May 28, 1967, he married Sunny Buenconsejo in Manila, Philippines. Together they moved to Kenosha in 1978. Paul was employed with American Brass, Ladish Tri-Clover, Harry Holland, Universal Foods and Emmpak Foods. Most recently he was employed by Walmart. He attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and St. Anthony Catholic Churches and was a member of the Pilipino-Americans of Kenosha. He enjoyed bow hunting, reading, military history, aviation and was a World War II buff. He also really enjoyed dancing with his wife. Survivors include his wife, Sunny of Kenosha; three children, Timothy (Ann) Reyes of Kenosha, Eliza (Greg) Gillespie of Madison and Veronica (John Monson) Reyes of Kenosha; two brothers, Nonni (Nancy) Reyes and Totic (Minda) Reyes, both of the Philippines; five grandchildren, Daemon Monson, Darian Monson, Grace Reyes, Drew Monson and Harrison “Harry” Gillespie; and his beloved dog, Sasha. He was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Reyes.
