Michael T. Montemurro, 74, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Kenosha on September 29, 1940, he was the son of the late Thomas and Sarah (Maccarone) Montemurro. He was educated in local schools. Michael lived in Corpus Christi, TX, Austin, TX, Seattle, WA, and Las Vegas, NV, before returning to Kenosha in 2008 to make his home. Michael had been a security guard at Excalibur Casino in Las Vegas until his retirement in 2008. He enjoyed collecting cars, hunting, fishing, woodworking and animals, especially dogs. Surviving are his three children, John Montemurro of Kenosha, Tom Montemurro of Austin, TX, and Michaele (Anthony) Costanti of Renton, WA; two grandchildren, Matthew Montemurro and Anthony Costanti; and one great-grandchild, Chris Montemurro. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Thomasina (Aldo) Madrigrano, Mary (John) Peterson and Eleanor (Roger) Gemignani; and a brother, Joseph Montemurro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 4th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919-54th Street, at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
