John Joseph Garcia, 51, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. Born in Kenosha on February 9, 1963, he was the son of Cornelio and Rachel (Carreno) Garcia. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. John was a journeyman plumber and worked as a union plumber in Phoenix, AZ, Chicago and Kenosha. He was a member of Local 130 and enjoyed playing guitar, billiards, hunting, fishing and camping. John also loved sports in general, especially the Green Bay Packers. Survivors include his mother, Rachel Garcia of Kenosha; two children, John Joseph (Alyssa Garcia) Garcia, Jr. of Kenosha and Emily Garcia of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, John Joseph Garcia, III and Robert James Garcia; three brothers, Henry (Heidi) Garcia of Kenosha, Daniel (Margaret Lynn) Garcia of Bristol and Ruben Garcia of Kenosha; and his fiancé, Robin George, her children, Amy (Dave) Hanson and Kelly Shondel, and her grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Cornelio Garcia.
