Virginia Helen Ritacca, 77, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 12, 1938, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ida (Passanante) Ritacca. She attended local schools and graduated from Kenosha High School. Virginia was employed for 47 years by K.A.T./J.T.C. as a Data Processor Supervisor until her retirement in 2005. She was an Avon representative for 35 years. She spent her younger years working at the Orange Line candy store and pumping gas at Ritacca Brothers Service Station. She also worked at Woolworth and the Simmons Company. Virginia was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the altar society, and choir and served a term on the parish council. She worked the annual festival and Sport’s Night for many years. Virginia enjoyed tennis, golfing, bowling, traveling, singing, dancing and going to the casino. She bowled a 300 game as a member of the K.A.T. Kittens team. Virginia is survived by her three sisters, Rose Marie “Cookie” Del Conte, Marilyn Bindelli and Juanita (Daniel) Stolfo, all of Kenosha; her brothers-in-law, Bruno Aiello and Douglas Reindl (Mesa, AZ); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Lucille “Dolly” Aiello and Nadine Reindl; and two brothers-in-law, James Del Conte and Dante Bindelli. A special thank you to Dr. Bandealy and staff, Brookside Care Center and Hospice Alliance Hospice House for the special care they gave our sister and aunt. Prayers will be held on Monday, January 26th, from Proko Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
