Margaret C. Bakula, 80, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Aurora Medical Center. Born in Kenosha on October 12, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Theodore J. and Catherine M. (Kemen) Becker. Margaret attended the following schools: Hannan, St. Mary’s Catholic, St. George, Notre Dame Aspirancy in Milwaukee and St. Mary’s Academy in Prairie Du Chien, WI. She was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School in Racine and attended the Dominican College in Racine. On May 5, 1956, she married Robert J. Bakula at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kenosha. Margaret was employed at Great Lakes Training Center for five years, American Motors and Wisconsin Bell Telephone before she retired. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and Mothers Against Drunk Drivers. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed playing baseball, golf and all athletics. Margaret is survived by her husband, Robert of Kenosha; two sons, Anthony Bakula and Jeffery Bakula of Kenosha; a brother, Theodore (Leanne) Becker of Kenosha; two sisters, Donna Becker of Kenosha and Barbara Remington of Greendale, WI; and twelve nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, William, Eugene and Thomas; and three nephews.
