Linda L. Matsen, 65, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kenosha on February 1, 1949, the daughter of the late Robert K. and Loraine (Schultz) Bilger. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools. On June 9, 1988, she married Kenneth Matsen; he preceded her in death in 1998. For many years she had been a waitress at Hillcrest Restaurant. Linda loved going to Las Vegas and playing the slot machines, cooking, gardening, entertaining, playing solitaire and spending time with her granddaughter. Being a mom and grandma were her #1 priority. She was an extreme dog lover. Surviving are her two daughters, Heidi (Paul “Pablo”) Gonzalez of Las Vegas, NV, and Tinaloraine Szuggar-Metallo of Kenosha; her only granddaughter, Kelsey Lee (Zachary) Bryant of Kenosha; a brother, Robert Bilger of Kenosha; and sister, Lisa Bilger of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by a sister, Renee Bilger; and a brother, Byron Bilger. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
