Katherine M. “Katie” McQuestion, 26, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015, at United Hospital System-St. Catherine’s Medical Campus from a brief illness. Born on June 23, 1988, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of Joseph and Ann (Rizzo) Ceschin. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, Katie graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. She then received a Bachelor of Science degree as a Radiology Technician from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. On September 20, 2014, she was united in marriage to Thomas “T.J.” McQuestion at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kenosha. For the past three years she has worked as a Radiology Technician for United Hospital System-St. Catherine’s Medical Campus in Pleasant Prairie. Katie enjoyed bowling with her husband and playing cribbage with her grandfather. She was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan and animal lover, especially her cat, Steve and her dog, Mesa. Surviving are her husband, T.J. McQuestion of Kenosha; her parents, Joseph and Ann Ceschin of Kenosha; a sister, Kelly (Josh) Zolin of Gilbert, AZ; her paternal grandfather, Mario Ceschin of Kenosha; maternal grandmother, Sue Rizzo-Anstett of Menomonee Falls, WI; mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Chris McQuestion of Kenosha; sister-in-law, Alyssa McQuestion; and a nephew, Weston Smith. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Neva Ceschin; and maternal grandfather, Frederick Rizzo. Katie’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Catherine’s Medical Center in the ICU, ER and Radiology for all of the care they gave her.
