Delia Filomena Vittori

1922 ∼ 2014

Delia Filomena Vittori
Delia F. Vittori, 92, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at her home on December 31, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Province of Marche, San Ginesio, Italy, on July 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Bianca Cruciani. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard. She was the devoted mother of Zandra (Gerald) Jendusa, Alan (Donna) Vittori and Linda (David) Boman, proud grandmother of Christina (Ryan) Jendusa Goldstein, Nick (Ellen) Jendusa, Anna Marie Jendusa, Genevieve Boman and Madeleine Boman, and great-grandmother of Dominic, Lily, Kieran, Courtney and Paige. She is further survived by a brother, Louis Cruciani and other relatives and friends. Delia held a strong faith in God. Her favorite saying during difficult times was, “Let go and let God.” When she could no longer attend Mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the nuns came to her house with communion. She was truly grateful. She loved her family and celebrated all gatherings by cooking large quantities of food which she planned, prepared and mostly grew in her backyard garden. Delia’s family would like to extend a special thank you to her care givers Tom, Victoria, Anne and Michele for their care and kindness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3rd, from the Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit Delia’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com

I have known Delia for 8 whole years or since I was 2 years old and just moved to Kenosha. I loved when i would come over and visit with Richard and Delia. Sometimes I would play with her great grandson Dominic. I am really sad that Delia is passing away and that we cant see her anymore. But i have to remember that she is watching over all of us who miss her.
